The Netherlands successfully completed negotiations and sign-off for the funding period 2007-2013 on 27 june 2007. The Netherlands expect to receive € 836 million of ESF funds for the next 7 years, which will be matched with national budgetary resources, to increase the labour force, to promote the social inclusion of the underprivileged in the labour force and to increase the adaptability of workers and enterprises and invest in human capital.
Agentschap SZW is part of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment. Agentschap SZW is responsible for the adminstration of various subsidy schemes relating to social-economic policy, in particular work and income policy.
Mission, tasks and objectives
Agentschap SZW is responsible for the adminstration of European Social Fund subsidy schemes, in addition to a number of national schemes.
