About Agentschap SZW
Agentschap SZW is a result-oriented, young organisation with around 150 members of staff. The organisation is part of the Dutch Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment. As a revenue and expenditures service, the organisation provides independent accounting. The director of Agentschap SZW is Ms P.A. Loekemeijer.
Subsidies…
Agentschap SZW administers subsidies relating to socio-economic policy,
in particular for work and income policy. For instance, for European subsidies
like the European Social Funds (ESF) and the European Globalisation Funds (EGF).
Agentschap SZW also administers a few nationally-financed subsidies, for example
‘Inburgering op de Werkvloer’ or ‘Civic Integration in the Workplace’.

The organisation increasingly carries out other non-subsidised
assignments. The Agentschap SZW staff also answer questions for the municipal
telephone helpline and for the civic integration help desk. They also oversee
the project management on international collaborative projects. The latest
addition regarding project management is the ´Actieplan Arbeidsveiligheid´ or
´Labour Safety Action Plan´. You can find more information about these subjects

Clients
Agentschap SZW mainly performs tasks for the Ministry of Social Affairs
and Employment as well as for other ministries, for example: Ministry of Public
Safety and Justice, and Interior and Kingdom Relations.
Mission
Agentschap SZW implements regulations and other assignments for the work and
income sectors. Agentschap SZW does this in an objective, efficient and
effective manner and is attentive to their clients.
